Description

The National Park Service will undertake a series of maintenance projects at the Frederick Douglas Home. This will require the removal of the museum collections from the Frederick Douglas Home. In order for the artifacts to be preserved from fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels, as well as dust and debris, all of the furnishings will be packed and moved into storage. The National Park Service will undertake the packing of smaller artifacts into boxes and the contractor will put the boxes and the larger artifacts into crates.
