- Description The Solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov, the electronic commerce website of the United States Department of the Interior, on or about February 13, 2004. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading the solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation, all interested parties must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number, please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. Interested offerors must also be registered with Central Contractor Registration ("CCR") at http://www.ccr.gov. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is not a set-aside. The United States Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary, Department of the Interior University is seeking qualified vendors to provide an assessment center process to be used as a critical component of the selection process for the Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program. The selected vendor will conduct in-depth assessments of program applicants using realistic business simulations and the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) in order to provide a valid predictability of future performance. The United States Department of the Interior intends to award, on a full and open competition basis, a firm fixed-price contract using Commercial Item procedures as set forth in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The successful offeror must be able to complete the proposed assessments of up to 40 candidates within two weeks of the date of contract award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541612.
