- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Ice Core Laboratory, has a requirement for maintenance of a critical refrigeration system, to include on-call emergency services, for a period of one year, with options to renew for an additional two years. Emergency on-call services must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system consists of four (4) 4-cylinder Mycom reciprocating compressors, two (2) 8-cylinder Mycom reciprocating compressors, one (1) evaporative condenser tower, four (4) evaporators operating at -36 degrees C, two (2) evaporator coils operating as one, operating at -24 degrees C, and two (2) evaporator coils operating as one, operating at about +4 degrees C, with a Teletrol 486 control system. Technicians providing services must have extensive experience working with and troubleshooting these systems. The facility is located in Building 810, Denver Federal Center, Denver, Colorado.
