Description
This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 1200 PST on that date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Engineering research and development in the physical and life sciences that require specialized knowledge and skills. The scope of this contract is to procure Engineering Services from Applied Fluid Technology, Inc., 326 First Street, Suite 34, Annapolis, MD, 21403. Dr. Korpus has personal experience with a wide range of engineering applications ? a fact that is crucial to the unique modeling requirements for this study. That range of experience is critical: it resulted in development of the proprietary model (AFTRANS) that will be used for these studies. Dr. Korpus worked in hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, propulsors, acoustics, and more. ***************************************** Note 22
