Description
NAICS Code: 611710 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Radiation and Indoor Air (ORIA) Indoor Environments Division (IED) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Tim Peters and Company, Inc. of Peapack NJ under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain a local asthma awareness outreach program targeting school-aged children during May, which has been designated National Asthma Awareness Month. Tim Peters and Company, Inc. is uniquely qualified to meet this requirement due to the fact that it is the only known organization to have developed and copyrighted innovative educational programs specifically geared toward schools on environmental asthma triggers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710. It has been determined that because of the ability of Tim Peters and Company, Inc. to develop and implement its "Clearing the Air!" awareness programs through both audience-centered print media and interactive presentation methods, it is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Jami Rodgers via e-mail at rodgers.jami@epa.gov.
