Description

The Internal Revenue Service contemplates renewing its support contract for the Software Quality Assurance (SQuA) source code control tool for 12 months beginning 10/01/2003. This tool is an automated configuration management utility for the UNISYS 2200/6800 mainframe platforms that provide tracking and software version control through the entire development life cycle of UNISYS applications. SQuA is a version contol tool for both source and executable code that has been substantially customized to meet the unique and specific needs of the IRS. All programs and source code on the UNISYS platform are managed and transmitted using this tool. The Government intends to a cquire the above services on a renewal basis from Arkdata AB, Inc., Katohah, New York 10536. The expected award date is September l25, 2003. No award will be made on the basis of any quotations/proposals or other information received in re sponse to this notice since this is a notification of intent to acquire and not a request for proposals. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-SEP-2003). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 05-FEB-2004.
