- Description
- The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price IDIQ contract for Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kits and Face-Pieces on a sole source basis to Mine Safety Appliances, CAGE Code 55799. This contract will provide coverage for the following nine NSNs: 4240-01-415-4239, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask (Small) (Face-Piece Only); 4240-01-415-4240, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask (Medium) (Face-Piece Only); 4240-01-415-4241, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask, (Large) (Face-Piece Only); 4240-01-497-7467, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Small)(Navy), 4240-01-497-7783, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Medium)(Navy); 4240-01-498-1189, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Large)(Navy), 4240-01-497-7120, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Small)(Air Force), 4240-01-497-7124, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Medium)(Air Force), 4240-01-497-7128, Chemical/Biological Gas Mask Kit (Large)(Air Force). The basic year (12 months following award) will provide for a minimum quantity of 42,000 each and a maximum quantity of 240,000 each (quantities will be an aggregate regardless of NSN), and a line item for engineering services. This contract will have five (5) annual option years in addition to the basic year. Each Option year will be for a minimum quantity of 42,000 and a maximum quantity of 240,000 (quantities will be an aggregate regardless of NSN) and will contain a line item for engineering services. The approximate issue date of the Official solicitation is 5 March 2004 with the approximate response date of 5 April 2004. Solicitation will be posted to Fedbizopps.
