Description
This requirement, in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport, WA, is for one item, CLIN 0001: 120 each Tactical Modems, TacLink 2000, Raytheon P/N 727194-801. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Road, Fort Wayne IN 46808, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determinat ion by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for quotation is N00253-04-Q-0080. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-19. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334290 and has a size standard of 750 employe es. Required delivery: within 240 days after date of contract. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345-7610 with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The following provisions apply to this solicitation, 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors. Responsibility: Offerors must meet the standard for FAR 9.104.
