Description
In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration???s Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.3.12, industry is hereby informed that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement with an estimated value over $100,000. SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) DTFAAC-04-R-03172 LOCAL TRANSPORATION SERVICES The FAA has a requirement for local transportation services to and from the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), 6500 S. MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK for federal personnel while residing in the local Oklahoma City area. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 485113 ??? Bus and Motor Vehicle Transit Systems and competition is set-aside for small business only. The anticipated award date for the contract is expected in time for contract performance to begin 01 April 2004 and ending 30 September 2004 (base year), with option to extend for three (3) additional 1-year periods. Request bids be submitted from prospective contractors for a contract that will provide safe, dependable, punctual, clean, comfortable transportation service utilizing model 2001 vehicles or newer. Vehicles should have a seating capacity of 25 to 40 passengers. Other vehicles, consisting of sedans, limousines, station wagons, or vans having a seating capacity of 3 to 15 passengers may be utilized as appropriate and approved by the Contracting Officer. Firms submitting proposals hereunder must have continuously been in the business of public transportation of a size at least similar to the requirements hereunder for a period of at least two years during the last five years and have at their disposal facilities for proper storage and maintenance of vehicles as required hereunder. Wheelchair access must be available within 24 hours of notification of requirement. Contractor should provide a schedule of daily trip charges that would be beneficial to both the contractor and the MMAC for effective management of the contract. The option to inspect vehicles prior to acceptance by consignee or representative of the MMAC is effective. Additional general requirements will be stated in the solicitation package. All questions or comments shall be submitted in writing. All bids are due by 3:00 pm CST on March 10, 2004. Written submissions must be received (not just postmarked) by the due date. Responses submitted via e-mail shall be in either Adobe.PDF format or Microsoft Word 2000 (or earlier) format with file sizes not exceeding 1MB. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405) 954-3030 or via e-mail to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. All requests should be submitted to Michele D. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
