Description

The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDS) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W81GYE-04-R-0034, o/a 3 March 2004 for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services in support of the SDDS 832nd Transportation BN, Jacksonvil le, Florida. Offerors will be required to handle Department of Defense sponsored cargo for the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Maritime Prepositioning Ships (MPS) Biennial Maintenance Cycle at the following locations: USMC Jacksonville Port Authority; Blount Island Terminal; and the Gates Petroleum property, Jacksonville, Florida. SDDS will award a fixed price, requirement contract with a four (4) year ordering period to commence o/a 1 August 2004. Forty-four (44) vessel operations are estimated for t he four-year period (approximately 11 vessels per year). The Offeror will arrange for and provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services, including all material and equipment, except those materials specified as Government furnished IAW the Statement o f Work in the RFP. NAICS Code (NAICS) 488320 and Federal Supply Code (FSC) V114 apply. Cut off for questions will be 10 days after the release date of the RFP. RFP will close 30 days after posting. This requirement will be solicited on a full and open basis. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
