Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue a competitive Small Business Set-Aside, Firm Fixed Price contract for 4 each Exhaust Valve Panel Assembly, P/N 610708-2 with 4 each, Technical Data (Certificate of Quality Compliance per DLAD 52.246-9000 and Test Report for First Article DI-NDTI-80809). The place of testing shall be at source. The drawings are in accordance with the Naval Air Warfare Center?s drawing package 610770 Rev M and Request for Engineering Information (REI) #REI-03-19003. The Exhaust Valve Panel Assembly is part of the Catapult System, it provides the means of placing the exhaust valve in the open or closed position. Due to the critical use of these materials, a pre-award and post-award survey is recommended to evaluate perspective contractor?s production and quality control capabilities and overall technical acceptability. Inspection and acceptance shall be at source. Higher-level quality assurance standard per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR 52.246-11 and FAR 52.246-2 applies with QA surveillance. Packing and preservation is in accordance with MIL-STD-2073D (Standard Practice for Military Packaging) (Reference Document MIL-STD-130K) and MIL-STD-129N (Standard Practice for Military Marking). Configuration control in accordance with MIL-STD-973.The contractor shall perform Quality Conformance and Lot Sampling Inspections. Delivery shall be on or before February 2005. The place of delivery is Lakehurst, New Jersey. Your company is required to register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. You can access the Internet web site www.ccr.gov . It is mandatory to register with the CCR, as your DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System + 4 number) number and your company?s CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense. You may contact the CCR Registration Center at 1-888-227-2432. Your company is required to register with the United States/Canada Joint Certificate Office for Export Control before you receive a copy of the solicitation. You can access the internet web site http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement form. You may also, contract the DLIS Registration Center at 1-800-352-3572. The Government drawings/specifications will be sent as part of the request for solicitation package.
