Description
The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) is requesting information from vendors for a soft pouch for their Small Caliber Dearmer kit. The Small Caliber Dearmer kit consists of 1. One 15.25 inches x 0.75 inches diameter barrel/breech assembly 2. One 13.5 inches x 0.75 inches diameter barrel/breech assembly 3. Two 7.5 inches x 0.75 inches diameter barrel/breech assemblies 4. Two 4 inches x 0.75 inches diameter barrel/breech assemblies 5. One 4.5 inches x 3 inches x 1.25 inches consumable box 6. One 7.5 inches x 2.7 inches diameter Ultrapod stand Descriptive literature should include product data sheets, product quality, reliability, company point of contact, and pricing information. Desired system parameters are as follows: 1) Size of empty pouch (by volume) should be less than 1789 inch cube. 2) Size of pouch with Small Caliber D earmer (by volume) should be less than 1789 inch cube. 3) Weight of empty pouch should be less than 7 pounds. 4) Pouch must be able to secure to EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) backpack without modification to the backpack. 5) Cost for each pouch should be less than $300.00 6) Pouch must hold Small Caliber Dearmer kit as described above. Other desired characteristics: individual pouches for each of the 6-barrel/breech assemblies, a pouch for the Ultrapod stand, and pouch for the consumable box. The data collected from this market research effort will be utilized to understand commercially available items? ability to meet the projected needs. Desired system parameters do not necessarily represent the minimum acceptable capabilities. This announcement serves to survey product availability and is not a request for proposals.
