Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Institutional Procurement Office is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) for administration of Education and Student Programs. The CAN will request proposals for administration: 1)The KC-135 Student Flight Program is designed to encourage students to pursue careers in science and engineering by presenting them with the opportunity to fly an experiment on NASA's KC-135 aircraft. 2)The Graduate Student Researchers Program is designed to help meet the continuing needs of the aeronautics space effort by increasing the number of highly trained scientists and engineers in aerospace, space science, space applications and space technology. 3)NASA Faculty Fellowship Program hosts 10-week summer on-site fellowships at the Johnson Space Center and the White Sands Training Facility for full-time engineering and science educators from U.S. colleges and universities. On or about February 11, 2004, this CAN will be available electronically through the http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73#108702 . Participation is open to all educational institutions. Electronically submitted Notices of Intent to propose are requested by 4:00 p.m. on February 23, 2004. E-mail submissions are acceptable. The estimated proposal due date is April 23, 2004. The electronic submission of each proposal's Cover Page/Proposal Summary/Budget Summary is required by the due date for proposal submission. This solicitation leading to the award of a Cooperative Agreement will be issued pursuant to title 14 CFR Part 1260 for educational and nonprofit institutions and 14 CFR part 1274 for commercial organizations. Notwithstanding the posting of this opportunity at FedBizOpps.gov, Grants.gov, or at both sites, NASA reserves the right to determine the appropriate award instrument for each proposal selected pursuant to this announcement.
