****ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO PAMELA MYRES, Contracting Officer OR VERNITA ACOFF-JONES, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, Fax 256-876-5311, AMSAM-AC-LS-C. NSN: 3020-01-122-0375, P/N: 145D5317-2, PRON: AX4C 0139AX, NOUN: Gear, Spur, Quantity: 14 each requirement applicable to the CH-47 aircraft with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Production lead-time with First Article Testing is applicable is 14 each 280 days after contract award. Production lead-ti me when First Article is not applicable or FA is waived is 14 each 180 days after contract award. Production lead-time when Alternate II clause is recommended the delivery time 14 each 225 days after contract award. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company Cage 77272 and Arrow Gear Company Cage 28596. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offeror s must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete fo r future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annot ated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed thro ugh their respective embassies. NOTES: 23 and 26
