Description

MARKET SURVEY AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Information is being collected for market survey purposes and not as a request for proposal or as an obligation on part of the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited but is inter ested in world-wide sources. Please identify any proprietary information submitted. All information submitted will be retained in the contract office files as market research, but will not be released to the public. 5.56mm Blank M200 DODIC A080, NSN 1305-00-182-3217, PART NO. 10534344. This round has no projectile and is intended for training. Twenty cartridges are packed in a carton, 57 cartons in a M2A1 ammunition boxes, two ammunition boxes in wire bound boxes. While there are no firm requirements at this time, the requirement could be for approximately 80-100 million rounds. The USG has no intention of waiving any technical data package requirements. The Army Field Support Command is seeking sources capable of meeting subject requirements. Interested sources should submit concept papers outlining their capabilities to meet the Armys requirements should they develop. Concept papers, at a minimum, shou ld identify your business structure, business size and status, business capabilities to produce these requirements (equipment, technical, production rate capabilities identifying minimum and maximums and soonest availability dates, quality system utilized, etc.), past experience with same or similar items. Interested sources shall provide their concept papers to HQ, AFSC, ATTN: AMSFS-CCA-F (Ms. Susan McKinnis), Rock Island, IL 61299-6500 by COB 16 FEB 04.
