Description

DESC: NSN: 1005-01-461-0326, Part Number: 12988988. The item to procure is a Buffer, Recoil Mechanism. The Buffer, Recoil Mechanism is a SOURCE CONTROLLED/APPROVED SOURCE OF SUPPLY ITEM FROM THE ENIDINE, INC., COMPANY, CAGE CODE: 24403, PART NUMBE R SP20625. Used on the M240B 7.62MM Machine Gun. Body cylinder material is aluminum alloy, Bar 2014-T6 or 7075-T6 ASTM B 211. Rod Piston material is steel bar, Compsn 8620 or 88L20 ASTM A 322 or A331. FOB is destination. Requirements are 600 each. Th e proposed contract will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), with an estimated guaranteed minimum quantity of 600 each. Estimated issue date is 05 March 2004. This action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY 04 requirement. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
