This is a full and open firm fixed price service requirement. A copy of the Request For Quotation and Amendment No. 0001 are available as pdf documents at the following website: http://www.poh.usace.army.mil/pohct/contracting.asp. Fax your quote by the closing date and time to (808)438-8588. Offer due date and time remains unchanged. A. This amendment is hereby issued to address requests for information, which are provided in the following question and answer format. Q1: Please clarify there is no construction responsibility as part of these services. A1: There is no construction responsibility as part of these services. The requirement is to provide original copies of the Status Title Reports. Q2: If the title reports contain title exceptions who will be expected to clear them up? A2: This work is not required as part of these services. Q3: Are the twelve (12) properties listed all part of the three (3) mile extension that is owned by the State of Hawaii or are they part of the widening and realignment that will take place on Drum Road? A3: The twelve (12) tax map keys are for the entire road, from Helemano into Kahuku. Q4: DFARS Clause 252.242-7000 Postaward Conference addresses a post award conference that the contractor must attend. Clause S-36.18 Accident Prevention Plan addresses a preconstruction conference. Is the contractor expected to attend both? A4: No, the Contractor is not expected to attend both. If the Contractor is located on island, the Contractor will meet with the Government Point-of-Contact at a designated site, otherwise a telephone call will suffice. B. The offer due date and time remains unchanged.
