Description

The Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) of the U.S. Agency for International Development is recruiting a Senior Regional Advisor Personal Services Contractor (PSC) to head its Regional Office for LAC in San Jose, Costa Rica. As OFDA's senior official in LAC, the advisor will be responsible for managing the office and its multifaceted operations. Given the extreme diversity of country contexts and capacities, as well as the range of hazards, including earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, drought, floods, and civil strife, the advisor will be responsible for overseeing OFDA's varied portfolio of response, preparedness, and mitigation activities in the region.
