Description
The contractor shall operate, maintain, repair, and improve facilities and equipment and provide related service as specified, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and all terms and conditions in the solicitation for the Coast Guard Training Center, Yorktown, VA. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 15. The Government will award a contract for this request for proposal to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation, which will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered. A firm-fixed price type contract with requirements provisions will be awarded by April 15, 2004. The base period of performance will be on or May 1, 2004 through September 30, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, if exercised by the Government. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of 30 million. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. For the calculation of annual receipts and number of employees see parts 121.104 and 121.106 in SBA?s Small Business Size Regulations, http://www.sba.gov/regulations/121/. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this office. The solicitation package will be available electronically by accessing http://www.uscg.mil/mlclant/Fdiv/fdiv.html on or about February 24, 2004. No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed. Amendments to the solicitation will also be provided on the internet using the same protocol listed above. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining any amendments from that site.
