Description

The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a sole source service contract to Werres Corp. for maintenance of various models of Raymond Rackloaders located at the Defense Distribution Center Norfolk, VA under simplified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition, since Werres Corp. is the only authorized contractor to provide Raymond replacement parts for the Norfolk area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be faxed to Julie Metzger (717) 770-5689.
