- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to evaluate the Winstanley Trail and Walker Cove Buoys for cause of failure(s) and determine current situation. Inspect and document by video the buoy anchor, chain, cable, shackles, and all associated hardware for wear and damage. Propose to the Contracting Officer actions that need to be taken to repair each buoy to a fully functional condition. Repair buoys based on proposed and approved actions. The project area is located approximately 40 to 70 boat miles east of Ketchikan in the Misty Fiords National Monument Wilderness, Southeast Alaska. The performance period is 90 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about February 27, 2004 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to download the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-04-22. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project.
