Description: NSN 1005-01-128-5470, P/N 9348393. Item to be procured is Pivot, Slide made of steel, composition 4140 or 4130, grain size 5-8 per ASTM A331 or A332. Outside diameter is 6.990mm, overall length is 18.00mm. Item requires phosphate coating IAW MIL-DT L-16232. Phosphate procedure must be approved by Government prior to production. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY2004 requirement. Minimum guaranteed quantity is 5,000 each as part of a planned 5 year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quanti ty (IDIQ) contract. Estimated issue date for solicitation is 11 March 2004. This solicitation will be issued electronic ally in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLIN FO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
