- Description
- Project consists of installing new water mains, hydrants and appurtenances, and connecting to existing services and water mains at the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge, Marion, Illinois. A portion of the work occurs within areas leased by the government to private industry and contaminated soil and groundwater are known to occur immediately adjacent and to and near the work. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be available in hard copy only. Solicitation packages will be available free of charge approximately 03/02/2004 with bid opening occurring on or about 04/15/2004.
