- Description
- THIS IS BEING SOLICITED SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Provide all necessary management, plant, labor, tools, transportation, travel, equipment, materials, and applicable licenses, permits, and/or certificates, and any other items necessary to perform all work within the Protective Coating Maintenance (PCM) contract at various base facilities on an occupied/unoccupied basis at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, and two satellite facilities that fall within the scope of the contract, which are Lake Texoma Recreational Annex (located in Grayson County, Texas) and Frederick Auxiliary Airfield (located in Tillman County, Oklahoma). The contractor shall have a minimum of three years experience with exterior/interior painting, pools, tape/bed/texture, pavement markings, miscellaneous sandblasting, wood/concrete floor painting, construct/fabricate new signs, miscellaneous graphics and artwork, refinishing wood floors, and lead-based-paint abatement. The contract will not give the contractor exclusive right to perform all work on Sheppard AFB or satellite facilities that fall within the scope of the contract. This solicitation is being set aside for competitive 8(a) contractors, serviced by the Texas and Oklahoma Small Business Administration district offices. Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238320 with a size standard of $12 million. Project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with a minimum of $100,000 guarantee for the life of the contract, inclusive of options. Contract will be issued for a basic period (six months), and four one-year options. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Federal Business Opportunities System (http://eps.gov/). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation documents and any amendments. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of a contract. Information to register can be found on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated issue date for this solicitation is 26 Nov 2003. Estimated proposal due date is 26 Dec 2003.
