Description
The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office has a requirement for trash rack clean up at four siphons under the Ririe Outlet Channel located in Ririe, Bonneville County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format at FAR 12.6, as supplemented in accordance with the format included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being issued as 04SQ140025; and proposals (including the completed FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items) are due February 27, 2004. The RFQ incorporates revisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2001-12. This is a total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 562119, the small business standard is $ 10.5million. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about March 8, 2004, that is most advantageous to the Government. REF. Wage Determination Number 1994-2159 Rev: 21. THE REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall clean trash racks at four siphons under Ririe Outlet Channel from April 1 - October 31, 2004. The trash racks shall be inspected and cleaned at least daily. Depending on the time of the year and related weather, specifically during the early part of the irrigation season, inspection and cleaning may be repeated several times a day, including night visits. Equipment used: Most of the work is accomplished by hand using long handled rakes. Occasionally a backhoe is needed to remove the accumulation of trash and debris. The majority of the debris (weeds) is burned, however, non-burnable material has to be loaded and hauled to the appropriate site. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT QUOTES ELECTRONICALLY.
