January 22, 2004 March 9, 2004 Adams?s Mark Hotel Philadelphia, PA CASHING IN ON GOVERNMENT BUSINESS There are tremendous sales opportunities for small businesses with federal, state and local agencies. Find out what these buyers are looking for, both in quality and types of products and services during Alliance Mid-Atlantic, March 9th at the Adam?s Mark Hotel in Philadelphia. At this conference and trade show, disadvantaged, women and minority-owned businesses, HUBZone, service-disabled and veteran-owned and small businesses in general. Company representatives have the opportunity to meet and network with over 80 federal, state and local agencies, major purchasers and other large companies. Businesses are able to both learn the intricacies of doing business with the government and network with the department personnel who can make the buying decisions. Workshops will help businesses discover how to get on the GSA Federal Supply Schedule, and what to do once they are there, what prime contractors are looking for in small businesses and programs available for women-owned businesses and veteran-owned businesses. Attendees can also schedule additional MatchMaking Meetings with at least one agency of their choice. The event?s lead agency is the US General Services Administration.
