- Description
- Provide Optometrist services. The Optometrist will evaluate inmate patients on referral from the institution medical staff. A session shall be one hour in duration. It is estimated that 4 (four) examinations will be performed each hour. It is estimated that 28 (twenty-eight) examinations will be required each bi-weekly visit. It is estimated that seven-one hour sessions will be required each bi-weekly visit. Services will be arranged Monday through Friday during regular work hours, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The proposed contract resulting from this solicitation will be for a base year with the possibility of four unilaterally exercised option years. The solicitation will be available on or after February 26, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
