- NASA/GSFC plans to issue a RFQ for Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS)Engineering, Design, Fabrication, and Test Support for Generation 8 of GSFC's monopropellant thruster effort and the associated MEMS valve effort. See attached Statement of Work and RFQ. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 531330 and 499, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ Date is on or about February 16, 2004, with an anticipated February 26, 2004 All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This requirement is address a plan, as to how the attached Statement of Work will be performed. In addition, information on the attached RFQ is to be answered and filled out. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail or FAX) to Marolyn Cross, no later than February 25, 2004. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
