Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan is soliciting offers to provide service/maintenance of facility fire extinguishers (Approx 400). Typical contractor duties to include one year, six year and twelve year inspections in accordance with NFPA. It is estimated that a contract award will be made by March 1, 2004, with services to begin March 2, 2004. Contract offers will include a base year with (4) one-year option periods. Offers are due no later than 4:00pm local time February 27, 2004. No telephone requests for solicitations will be accepted, you can email or fax requests to 734-213-3833. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This is a negotiated procurement and there will be no public bid opening. North American Industry Classification Code for this procurement is 423990, and the small business size standard is 100 employee's. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-a-side. Numbered Note #1 applies.
