- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to provide presort mail services to be performed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center - Milwaukee (VAMC) and the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705. The contractor shall provide as necessary to accomplish the work described in this Statement of Work, except as may otherwise be specified. Veterans Administration Medical Center - Milwaukee (VAMC): Furnish all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, work space and materials to provide mail processing service. The contractor is to provide one or more of the following services to the Veterans Administration Medical Center, 5000, W. National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53295 (VAMC): pick-up, pre-sort, ZIP +4 and/or delivery point barcode, tray, sleeve, band, and ACT tag, and provide various other first and/or third class outgoing mail processing services as noted within the statement of work. William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital, 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705: Contractor shall furnish all necessary supervision, labor, equipment, work space and materials to provide mail processing service, utilizing Automation Compatible (Auto), First Class Presort, Full Rate First Class Permit, Presort Flats, Certified (Irregular, all certified mail will be pre-logged at the VAMC), International, Priority/Express, Parcel Post and special standard mail (letter size) Contract period will be March 16, 2004 through January 31, 2005, plus four (4) option years. The contractor shall provide service as needed as listed in this solicitation in accordance with the attached specifications contained in this request for quotations. Contract type is firm-fixed price. This solicitation is un-restricted and offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The NAICS code is 563431; size standard $6 Million applies. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about February 17, 2004.
