- Description
- Solicitation 8004-10 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression programs at Albuquerque and Dulce, New Mexico. The airplane will be based at Double Eagle Airport (AEG), Albuquerque, NM May 1, 2004 through June 24, 2004 and Jicarilla Apache Nation Airport (24N), Dulce, NM June 25, 2004 through July 21, 2004. Service is required 6 days per week ( 70 days of availability, no relief required). The contract period will be one year from date of award. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 800 US gallons of material weighing 7,360 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 20, 2004.
