Description
DTCG87-04-Q-643076. Provide helicopter support to the U.S. Coast Guard at Cape Hinchinbrook Light Station in Prince William Sound Alaska. Transfer work will involve the following items between the Light Station and a barge anchored in a cove approx. 3-1/2 miles away. The staging area at the Light Station is adjacent to a 100’ by 100’ helicopter pad. Coast Guard personnel will be on-site to coordinate the barge arrival and assist in transfer of the tanks to and from the station. The following quantities are estimates of the items to be transferred by helicopter. From Barge to Station - Three 3,000 gallon fuel tanks: approximate tank size of 16' long by 7' diameter and weight of 5,600 lbs each. Fuel piping and construction equipment. This material will be bundled for helicopter lift. Assume 4 lifts at a maximum of 3,000 lbs. each. From Station to Barge - Disassembled fuel tanks cut into pieces and chained together for helicopter lift. Assume 8 loads at a maximum of 4,000 lbs. each. One 1,100 gallon decommissioned fuel tank: approximate tank size of 12’ long by 4’ diameter and weight of 1,300 lbs. Miscellaneous debris. Assume 2 loads of maximum 2,000 lbs each. Schedule: Helicopter support will be required between July 15 and August 15, 2004. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 481212 and the applicable size standard is 20.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past 3 years. All responsible businesses may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website.
