- Solicitations are being sought by the Simplified Acquisition Department of the Federal Highway Administration, Western Federal Lands Higihway Division with the intent to develop and implement objectives for digital training on the "Construction Inspection of Soil Nail Walls"; the digital training is to be viewed as a companion product to the 1994 "Soil Nailing Field Inspectors Manual", Report FHWA-SA-93-068, Federal Highway Administration, Washington D.C.; Solicitation DTFH70-04-Q-0018 will be a Request For Quotation prepared in accordance with procedures for solictation evaluation and award as prescribed in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; This solicitation will be 100% set-a-side for Small Business; all firms or individuals responding must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR); Tne North American Industry Classification System Code is 611430 with a size standard of $6 mil; the estimated price range for this project is >$25,000 < $100,000; the Request for Quotation packet will be available 3-2-04; you can e-mail Patricia Mahurin to request a packet pmahurin@wfl.fha.dot.gov; limiting the packets to 15
