- Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F2SSPT40370200 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 332994 with a size standard not to exceed 1,000 employees. (v) Contract line items: Item 0100 – 66 each – Custom Weapons Storage Rack. Patriot Manufacturing Part Number PSAR-820M4A. Weapons rack to secure the M4 carbine. Each storage rack is designed to specifically store thirteen M-4’s with scopes, laser aiming devices, and flashlights attached. The dimensions are 42” H x 14” D x 72.5” W, and the weight is 73 pounds. The rack must prevent easy removal by unauthorized persons. The rack must secure weapons with all of its equipment mounted. (vi) Line items must be brand name only. (vii) Delivery and installation is to be completed by 6 April 2004. Place of delivery is 91 SFG, TSgt Gardner, 330 Tanker Trail Suite 130A, Minot AFB, ND 58705. Delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination. (viii) The provision of 52.212-1, Instruction to Offers - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The evaluation procedure to be used for this procurement is price and price related factors. (x) Offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with offer (see attachments). (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (xii) Clause52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition: 52.222-19, 21, 26, 35, 36, 37, - 52.225-1, - 52.232-33, - 52.219-6, 252.232-7003. (xvi) All sources must submit a quote with required Offeror Representations and Certifications by 12:00 pm Central Standard Time on Thursday, 27 February 2004.
