- NSN: 2840-01-381-0925PR P/N: 1363M21G03 The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Noun: HOUSING, ANTIFRICTION. Item Description: Provides support and mounting area for the #1 bearing and oil seal components. Appl to F110 GE 129 F16 C.D. aircraft. Dimensions are as follows: circular; OD; 11.478 inches; height: 4.215 inches . Applicable to: F110 Engine. Destination: FB2039 Delivery: September 2004 Estimated Qty: 6. Quantity Ranges will be solicited: 3 to 5 and 6 to 9. The quantity requested can change before award. Contractors should quote on all quantities listed. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 3 March 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 2 April 2004. The anticipated award date will be 30 April 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Data may be obtained from the TeDs website at www.dodteds.com once the solicitation has been issued. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 736-3273. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
