- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY, intends to make a single award for the provision of Vending Machine (both Debit card and cash) Services for inmates and visitors at the camp. The services to be provided are estimated to include 2 soft drink/juice; 1 candy/snack; 1 hot beverage; 2 cold food and 1 change bank. Items to be stocked will be in accordance with Bureau of Prisons guidelines. The coinless portion of the equipment shall be Debitek model 3 system or equal. Servicing of these machines is to occur on a daily basis - seven (7) days per week. The contract type is a requirements contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with a possibility of four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or after February 24, 2004, and will be distributed through the Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site and should register at www.FedBizIpps.gov to receive notifications regarding information updates about this acquisition. The anticipated date of receipt of quotations is on or about March 30, 2003. The NAICS code for this service is 45421 with small business size standard of $6.0 million. This action is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
