Description

Contractor to provide the necessary labor, materials, equipment, travel and per diem to inspect twenty-two high pressure boilers (15 psi or greater steam pressure) twice yearly. Type A inspections include internal/external and Type C is external und er steam. Inspection shall be in accordance with A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and specifications set forth in the solicitation. All inspectors used by the contractor must have a current and valid National Board Commission license. Inspection s are to be performed at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK 74501-9002. Base Year contract award date through 31 Dec 2004 with four option years (1 Jan 2005 - 31 Dec 2005; 1 Jan 2006 - 31 Dec 2006; 1 Jan 2007 - 31 Dec 2007; and 1 Jan 2008 - 31 Dec 2008. This will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide good/services to DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. You may register via the internet at www.ccr.gov. Approx issue date 19 Feb 2004 with closin g date approx 22 Mar 2004. The solicitation will be issued via the internet at https://acquisition.army.mil. Any changes to the solicitation will also be posted to this web site and is the contractor's responsibility to check this site daily for any post ed changes. All interested ccr registered contractor's may submit a quotation.
