- Development and instruction of a transition assistance program that is specifically designed to meet the unique needs and concerns of retiring general officers and their families. The level of instruction must be appropriate for senior executives, a nd must thoroughly prepare general officers to successfully transition from military service into the civilian workforce. Each course shall provide instruction to general officers and their spouses in transitioning from executive military service into the civilian workforce, to include, as a minimum, the following: pre-separation counseling, individual transition planning, and employment assistance. The course shall be conducted utilizing two (2) instructors. Numbered Note 1 applies. All inquiries pert aining to this announcement shall be submitted, in writing, to: DCC-W, ATTN: C.
