- This announcement is being modified to add the closing date of February 26, 2004. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), number DLQ040011. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 441222. The Small Business Annual Receipts for the firm and its Affiliates, for the preceding three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $6.0 million. The line item number is: Item 1, Welded Aluminum Jet Boat, 1 Each, -Welded aluminum hull -Minimum 18' long -Minimum beam = 84" -Side height = 31" -Inside depth = 27" -Shallow "Vee" hull design -Minimum bottom gauge aluminum = .160" -Minimum side gauge aluminum = .100" -Minimum weight capacity = 1,000 lbs. -Mercury 200 Optimax Sport Jet or equal with standard instrumentation and controls. Features to Include: Running lights, Horn, Walk through windshield, Driver side windshield wiper, Glove Box, Canvas top with side and rear curtains, Two (2) swivel seats on storage boxes, Welded cleats, Built in gas tank - 34 gallon minimum. Item 2, Boat Trailer, 1 Each. -EZ Loader bunk trailer sized for boat -Tongue jack -Spare tire -Spare tire holder -Wired standard flat-4 plug -Galvanized -Weight capacity 2,350 pounds -Carpeted bunk guide-ons. The delivery address is Bureau of Land Management, Upper Columbia-Salmon/Clearwater District, 1808 N. Third Street, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho 83814. The FOB Point is destination. For the purpose of evaluation and award, responsive quoters are required to submit descriptive literature for the products offered listing significant elements such as -- (1) Design; (2) Materials; (3) Components; (4) Performance characteristics; and (5) Methods of manufacture, assembly, construction, or operation. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial is applicable. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, is applicable, and the following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable: 52.204-06, 52.204-07, 52.211-05, 52.219-06, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.223-03 Alt. 1, 52.223-06, 52.232-33, 52.232-36, 52.246-02.
