Description

**This is an amendment to Solicitation Number: N00421-04-T-0071. The purpose of this amendment is to change the synopsis closing date from 3/9/04 to 3/2/04. All other information remains UNCHANGED!*** ******************************************************** Solicitation Number: N00421-04-T-0071. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR AD), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to negotiate with the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), 505 TENTH STREET NW, ATLANTA, GA, on a sole source basis. The negotiation will be for procurement of technical support services for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Fleet Support Team (FST) Integrated Data Environment (IDE). The UAV IDE consists of a UAV FST website and UAV Maintainers Electronic Performance Support System (UMEPSS). GTRI is the original developer of the UAV FST website and UMEPSS, and currently maintains and upgrades the website, web server and UMEPSS. Therefore, GTRI is the only known responsible source for the fulfillment of this requirement. Technical support is required to perform system server back-ups, system administration, and general maintenance on the website server and software. While this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may identify their interest and technical capability and submit a proposal for consideration by NAVAIR AD.
