- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 (VISN23), is seeking a provider for Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) Services through out the VISN23 service network. Provides are to supply local dial tone service via: 1) Primary Rate ISDN (PRI) with caller ID, 2) Analog trunks including Direct Inward Dial (DID). These services will be equivalent to those currently utilized through the current LEC. Existing main and DID numbers are to remain the same. LEC Services Provider is responsible for obtaining a copy of the Customer Service Record for each VA locations where service is request. Vendors must possess the capability to provide a block of consecutively numbered DID or transfer and maintain existing blocks already under reservation with current LEC. If current blocks of DID can’t be secured then bidder will provide to the VA available ranges and per the VA’s approval reserve these numbers for future use. Vendors must guarantee to make these blocks available at the time of contract award, for use as needed by VA. Providers are required to provide all services at all locations.
