- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source fixed price contract with the Oregon Graduate Institute (OGI)for the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Purpose of the proposed procurement is to continue studies initiated by OGI to assess ocean survival of salmonids relative to migrational timing, fish health, predation and oceanographic conditions. OGI is named as principal investigator on a Bonneville Power Administration-Funded Project that was peer-reviewed and awarded to NMFS. This project requires specific knowledge and input from OGI investigators and cannot be completed without this information. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government’s best interest, and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement.
