Description
The Defense Distribution Center intends to purchase 5 each Cousins Stretch wraps, PN HP 2100. This machine is a heavy-duty high profile semi-automatic stretch wrapper to include the following: Power Requirement – 115V/1Ph/60Hz/15A dedicated service; Maximum Load Size – 50’Wx50”Lx84”H with an 85” maximum load diagonal; Maximum Load Weight – 4,000lb dynamic/10,000lb static; Turntable – 48” octagonal 5/16” thick formed steel plate, 4 point caster support system, turntable height less than 11’ from floor; Turntable Drive – 3 to 15RPM rotational speed, 1/2HP DC variable speed drive motor, electronic soft-start acceleration, final revolution deceleration and re-alignment, and ANSI #50 direct chain drive c/w chain tensioner; Carriage Elevator – 1/2HP DC variable speed motor; ANSI #40 direct chain drive c/w shock dampener, and 12 point maintenance free carriage guidance system; Film Delivery System – rapid thread power pre-stretch film delivery system; 1/2HP DC variable speed motor; fully electronic dynamic dancer corner compensation; 40 to 313% fixed stretch capability, pre-stretch ratio variable by easy sprocket change, and rapid thread (safety) door with auto power cut-off switch; Film Capacity – all commercial stretch films wound on 20’ wide x 3’ diameter cores, and accommodates damaged cores; Control Features – simple to operate, reliable relay logic control circuit, single button auto cycle start, emergency stop button, turntable jog switch, film carriage tower/raise switch, film force to load control, variable film carriage speed/carriage pause control, variable turntable speed control, auto load height detection photo-eye, separate top and bottom wrap counters, and turntable positive alignment (included); Other Features – film roping bar, all structural steel construction, front and rear access forklift pick-up channels, and 1,250lb estimated shipping weight; Warranty – 3 year limited warranty This acquisition is 100% set- aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333993 and the size standard to meet the set-aside requirement is 500 employees. A written solicitation will NOT be issued. This notice constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information herein. This notice constitutes the only solicitation document and the only request for quotes. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The following clause is incorporated for purposes of this notice: FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTFICATIONS. This clause may be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov/far./.
