Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F13MSG40271300 as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspIt is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis acquisition is for the purchase of the following items:&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp3 Each SCAG 2004 Turf Tiger Mowers, Model Number: STT61A-27A, 27 HP, 4-cycle gas, twin cylinder, liquid cooled, 745cc engine, 61in deck, for the Grounds Maintenance section at Maxwell AFB AL.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspOr equal items will be considered.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe North American Industrial Classification System Code is 333112 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated either by reference or full text and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated proposals on company letterhead.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose proposal conforms to the solicitation.
