- The 325th Contracting Squadron and HQ/Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) Tyndall, AFB, FL, will host an Industry Day for Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP III) on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at HQ/AFCESA, Building 1120, 139 Barnes Drive, Tyndall AFB, FL from 8:00 am ? 5:00 pm.      The purpose of this event is to solicit comments from industry that may improve the proposed solicitation, refine program requirements, and provide review of AFCAP II.    This event also provides the opportunity to comment on the Government requirement prior to issuance of the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and the formal RFP.    Market Research Questions are attached for your consideration.    Additionally, Industry Day is an excellent forum for networking with other industry participants.    Due to the nature of AFCAP, no site visits will be conducted.    <BR> <BR> One-on-one sessions with the government contracting team will be conducted on March 11, 2004, at HQ/AFCESA Conference Room, Tyndall AFB, FL.    If your organization is interested in meeting with the government acquisition team, please indicate your interest on the Registration Form attached.    You will be notified at registration on 11 March 2004 of the scheduled time of your meeting.    <BR> <BR> Due to security requirements at Tyndall AFB you must pre-register for Industry Day on the attached Registration Form.    For information about registration you may contact Amy Foster at 325 Contracting Squadron at (850) 283-3648 or by e-mail at amy.foster@tyndall.af.mil.<BR> <BR> Tyndall AFB is located on Highway 98 in Panama City Florida.    <BR> Directions to HQ/AFCESA from Bay County International Airport:<BR> Exit Airport on Airport Drive (also Route 327 and Lisenby Avenue).    Turn left at the third traffic light, onto Route 98 (also 15th Street).    Follow Route 98 (becomes known as Tyndall Parkway after 5 miles) to Tyndall AFB.    At mile 9 traffic light, Route 98 merges with Business Route 98.    Turn left at traffic light to continue on Route 98.    Proceed over Dupont Bridge and enter Tyndall AFB.    Turn right at the 1st traffic light, 1 mile past the bridge to enter the Visitor?s Center Gate on Saber Drive.    Provide your name to the Gate Guard.    You may be directed to enter the Tyndall Visitor?s Center to receive a temporary pass.    After passing through the gate guard turn to the left immediately.    At the next intersection turn to the left on Beacon Beach Road.    At the next intersection turn to the left on to Suwannee Road.    Follow Suwannee Road to Barnes Drive (approximately 1.5 miles).    Turn left on Barnes Drive.    The main parking log is the second driveway on the left.<BR> <BR> Information on Tyndall AFB and the surrounding area may be found at the Tyndall Air Force Base website at www.tyndall.af.mil.<BR> <BR> See Industry Day Attachments for registration form, agenda, Industry Day Notice, current AFCAP SOW and market research questions.
