- Description
- The work to be performed consists of furnishing galvanized metal ladders, walkways, platforms and handrails. The galvanized structural steel will be welded onto the existing radial gate arms and connected together to support the furnished metalwork. The metalwork will be fabricated as specified and attached to the structural steel to provide safe access to the trunnion pin areas. The work is located at the following locations: 1) Enders Dam, approximately 9 miles southeast of Imperial, Nebraska, 2) Trenton Dam, approximately 2 miles west of Trenton, Nebraska, and 3) Webster Dam, approximately 8 miles west of Stockton, Kansas. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for April 20, 2004 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation packages will be available on or around March 18, 2004. There is no charge for the first copy; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. The estimated price range of this work is $100,000 to $250,000. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238120. The small business size standard is $12.0 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
