- Description
- The Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS, has a requirement for installation of collateral equipment and furnishings at the U. S. Naval Air Station Sigonella, Catania, Italy. The installation must be performed by an approved Vendor with prior experience working for the U. S. Government on overseas bases, using experienced supervisory personnel throughout the course of the installation. Vendor should have written approval from equipment manufacturers to install equipment so that warranties are not lost. Installation is planned to take place on 19 APRIL 2004 thru 21 MAY 2004. The installation is to be phased in the following sequence (depending on the availability of equipment); (1) the Library on the south end of the building on the first (upper) floor, (2) the Veterinary Clinic on the ground floor (north end), (3) the Thrift Shop on the south end of the ground floor, and (4) the Navy Campus on the first (upper) floor on the north end of the building. The Library and Veterinary Clinic must be completed by no later than Friday, APRIL 30th and occupants will move into these spaces beginning on Monday, MAY 3rd. The Thrift Shop and Navy Campus must be completed by MAY 15th and occupants will be moving in concurrently as the installer completes remaining work in the building. The equipment for the remaining occupants can be installed in any order. After completion of the Community Center Building, the installer will install the punch list items. The Government may adjust the actual date of installation by written notice up to 45 days in advance of the planned installation. Tasks to include unload the containers, check all items in containers against the shipping documents, inspect for any damages, unpack, assemble as necessary, place each article in the room, remove all packing material/trash and place it in the dumpster. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. All contractors that request a copy of this quotation MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Further information may be obtained by calling CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, Customer Service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for your completion. The internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. Requests for quotations will be issued to all respondents on or about 04 MARCH 2004 with a closing date of 15 MARCH 2004.
