- See Notes 1, 26--NSN:8460-00-243-3234, Trunk Locker Barracks will be procurred in accordance with MIL-T-10798L dated 2 March 1990. This acquisition is planned as an Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price Contract. Quantity to be procurred for one year basic ordering period, Minimum-30,000EA, Maximum-40,000EA. Quantity to be procurred for two 1 year term options will be for Option 1-Minimum-16,260EA, Maximum-21,390EA--Option 2-Minimum-16,260EA, Maximum-21,390EA. There will be seven deliveries. Destination is SNT-W25G1U, New Cumberland, PA and AQ5-W62G2T, San Joaquin, Tracy, CA. Production Leadtime is 150 days. In accordance with FAR 15.101-3(b) (1), award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards or non cost factors. This will be a Lowest-Priced-Technically-Acceptable(LPTA) Source Selection. Submission of a First Article will be required. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home AFTER 15 March 2004(estimated date) from the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download, In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with a Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://ww.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assisstance is available at admin support@pgmail.daps.mil. Important Note on Foreign Content-The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes(including what is commonly referred to s "The Berry Amendment" impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textiles items(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals"(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014 must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. DSCP has developed a web-based system for contractor to request their specs, patterns, drawings, etc. A contractor fills out an on-line form and the request is automatically e mailed to the TDR area and stored in a database table.
