Description

This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation SP4700-04-T-0012 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular Acquisition of Commercial Items; (FAC 18); 12 January 2004. This solicitation is unrestricted and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811212 and size standard is $21,000,000.00. The Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) has a requirement for the JAVA Enterprise Software System with 350 licenses (part number JVS19-00S-99H9) and one CD Media Lit (Part Number JVSZ9-000C99MS). Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clauses 52.219-8, 52.219-9, 52.219-26, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-33 and 52.222-41 and 43 apply to this solicitation. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
