- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No.W9127Q-04-T-0018 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 97-14. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 size standard is 500. The following items are intended to be purchased for the Government, Line Item number 000 1, Quantity, 12 months, Calibrations of 4 YSI Inc. model 6920 multi parameter water quality monitors out fitted with temperature, specific conductance, vented level and wiped turbidity by factory authorized and trained field representative. Services shall include cleaning and calibrating of level, specific conductance and turbidity to include the replacement of the optical wiper and desiccant vent. Calibration solutions, wipers and desiccant for monthly calibration and maintenance. Download and submit data from all gauges to MSDEQ within 10 days of maintenance activities. This testing/calibration etc. will be conducted at Camp Shelby located South of Hattiesburg, MS. Services shall begin on 1 March 2004 and go through 28 February 2005. Line Item number 0002, Quantity, 12 months, for Monthly Maintenance and Repair of 4 YSI Inc. model 6920 Multi Parameter water quality monitors as needed. They are out fitted with temperature, specific conductance, vented level and wiped turbidity by factory authorized and trai ned field representative.
